Romero Britto

Brenda and Jerome Bengis with Romero BrittoIn our travels around the art world we have had the great pleasure to meet many well-known artists. This photo was taken with Romero Britto at a function on Miami Beach in 2007.

While a Miami fixture, Britto's international fame came with his commission to design a label for the famous Absolut Vodka advertising campaign in 1989.

Since then Britto has created murals, sculptures and logos in his colorful style as well as painted portraits of many famous personages including Roger Federer, Dustin Hoffman and Gloria Estefan.

In 2004 he created the world's largest aluminum sculpture, "Welcome" which is at Dadeland in Miami, Florida.

His widely collected serigraphs, paintings and sculptures are in great demand. His Miami Beach gallery is a treat.
